How to create a successful morning routine?

Each morning is the beginning of a new day, a new start for you, full of opportunities… but hey, are you snoozing the alarm,… just a few minutes longer in bed… STOP!

Let’s be honest, do you feel any better after postponing the alarm? Plus, you are missing out on that time, there is less time for you to prepare, you may run late and get stressed.

1. Get excited for the day

Remember when you were a little child and you could not wait to get up. That happened because you felt the excitement. Kids just jump out of their bed and looking forward to play with their friends, discover something new. Find back to this feeling, get your life back on track! What do like, what are your dreams? Set a goal and make crystal clear plans and you will jump out of bed even before your alarm is ringing.

2. Drink water

Your body is made of up to 60% of water. Water means life. After a long night of sleep, your body needs water. Keep a bottle or a glass just next to your bed. The first thing after getting up out of bed should be you drinking water.

3. Breakfast

So many people leave their house without having breakfast, but it is the most important meal of your whole day. There is a huge variety of breakfast meals to enjoy: cereals, toasts, egg and bacon, fruits, bread rolls,… Your body needs a good breakfast to have enough energy for the day.

4. Fresh up and dress up

Some people take a shower in the evening, some in the morning. That’s totally up to you, but make sure to clean your face, to brush your teeth each morning (and as well as before going to bed!). Wear some clothes that are fresh and where you feel comfortable to wear.

5. Go out and enjoy the day

It’s a gift that you are alive and a free human being. Cherish your life, laugh, be kind, have fun and be grateful.
